Kirsten Miller is the author of four novels: All is Fish (Jacana 2007), Sister Moon (Umuzi 2014), All That Is Left (Kwela 2020) and The Hum of the Sun (Kwela 2018), which won the Wilbur and Niso Smith Foundation’s Prize for Best UnpublishedManuscript, was long-listed for the Dublin Literary Award and translated into German under the title Hörst du, wie der Himmel singt? (Baobab Books 2021). She also writes poetry, short stories, articles and non-fiction. Her non-fiction book, Children on the Bridge (Jacana 2006) was long-listed for the Alan Paton/Sunday Times Award. Miller holds an MA in writing and representation from UKZN.
