Karen Jennings

Karen Jennings is a South African writer whose novel An Island (2021) was longlisted for the 2021 Booker Prize. Her latest novel, Crooked Seeds (2024), was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction. In October, her hybrid poetry/prose work, Swartbooi and Titus, will be published by Karavan Press. Karen is the Chair of Creative Writing at North-West University.
