Karabo Kgoleng

Karabo Kgoleng is a broadcaster and facilitator who collaborates with writers and academics in the humanities to bring their work into public discourse. She believes in the transformative power of engaging with social and cultural issues. A recipient of the South African Literary Award for Journalism, Karabo is a respected voice on storytelling as a cornerstone of public intellectual and cultural life. She has served on literary award juries and selection panels for short story anthologies. Her previous roles include Books Editor at City Press, talk show host at SAfm and 702, and Deputy Director: Books and Publishing at the Department of Arts and Culture.
