Anelile Gibixego

Anelile Dlamini – Gibixego is a Pietermaritzburg-born author, researcher, and environmentalist. She has been published in numerous outlets on topics she is passionate about, including literature in South Africa, water resources, mental health, and gender-based violence. Her debut novel, iGoli Dreams, was published in 2018. She also contributed an essay to the anthology Living While Feminist: Our Bodies, Our Truths (2020), edited by Jen Thorpe. Anelile has published academic papers on environmental concerns and the publishing sector in South Africa. She is currently focused on her academic career as a researcher and consultant.
